Frequently asked questions
How many images can I combine?
There is no hard limit, but very large batches use more device memory. For dozens of photos, convert in smaller groups if your browser slows down.
Will image quality be preserved?
Yes. A JPEG that is already the right way up goes into the PDF byte for byte, with no re-compression at all. PNGs stay lossless, which keeps screenshots of text sharp. Only an image you rotate, or a phone photo that needs turning upright, is redrawn — at high quality. Transparent areas become white.
Why do my phone photos come out sideways in other converters?
Phones save a portrait photo as landscape pixels plus a note telling the viewer to turn it. Photo apps read that note; many PDF converters ignore it and embed the raw pixels, so the page comes out on its side. This one reads the note and turns each photo upright before it goes into the PDF. If one still needs adjusting, the rotate button beside it fixes it.
Why is my PDF so much larger than the photos?
Each photo is embedded at full resolution, so a set of 4 MB phone pictures makes a PDF of roughly the same total size. If the result needs to fit an upload limit, compress the images first or run the finished PDF through the PDF compressor.
