Every tool on CrispFile runs inside your own web browser. When you open an image or a PDF here, it is read directly from your device into the page and processed there. It is never transmitted to us, never stored on a server, and never seen by any person. When you close or refresh the tab, it is gone.
The background remover model
The first time you use the background remover, your browser downloads an open-source AI model file so it can run on your device. That download requests a file from a public content delivery network, exactly like loading an image on any website. Your photo is not part of that request.
Analytics
We record basic, anonymous usage statistics such as which pages are visited and which country a visit came from. This tells us which tools are worth improving. We do not build profiles of individual people and we do not sell any data.
Advertising
This site may display advertising to cover its running costs. Advertising partners may set cookies in your browser to measure and personalise the ads you see. You can control this in your browser settings, and in your Google Ads settings where applicable. Ads never have access to the files you open in our tools.
